Why Solar? FAQs

How do solar panels save me money?

Solar panels reduce your reliance on grid power, allowing you to generate your own electricity. By using solar energy, you can significantly lower your electricity bills and even earn credits for your future bills

Yes, solar energy systems can still produce electricity even on cloudy or rainy days, although at a reduced capacity. With solar battery storage, you can store excess energy produced during sunny days for use when the weather isn’t ideal.

If your system produces more energy than you consume, excess energy is often sent back to the grid, and you will receive credits for your future bill or payment from your DISCOM. This is called net metering and helps you maximize your savings.

Typically, solar panels do not work during a blackout unless you have a solar battery storage system. When paired with a battery, your home can remain powered even when the grid goes down.

The Power Gazebo requires minimal maintenance. You’ll need to clean the solar panels to remove dust or debris occasionally, and it’s a good idea to schedule regular inspections to ensure the system is functioning properly.
